Wanderlust

How gorgeous is this watercolor by Jessica Durrant? I totally have the travel bug right now and am itching to pack my bags and go somewhere. Around this time last year, Chris and I were wandering and eating our way through Italy. It’s always a thrill to see all that’s out there and broaden our horizons together. Even our trip to Punta Canna earlier this year was extremely satisfying. Although we spent pretty much the entire trip lounging poolside, sipping fruity drinks, sometimes it’s necessary to vacate your daily life and just go relax somewhere warm near some waves. If you could go anywhere in the world today, where would you go?

I've been dying to go to Tanzania and see the snows of Kilimanjaro.

I would go to Spain, Chile or Argentina. My Spanish is getting rusty, so some time there would prob. help. That, and I just want to hang out in another cool major city, so Madrid, Santiago or Buenos Aires would do the trick.

OMG I love that watercolor; I'm such a purple girl. Moving on, I've also been to Italy and Punta! I would kill to go back to Italy; more specifically the Amalfi Coast, but as for my recommendations for you, go somewhere you never thought in a million years you would ever go!

With the beautiful, sunshiney weather we have today, the thought of a nice, fruity drink with my toes deeply nestled in cool white sand, sounds as close to perfection as can be! WIth that said, my recommendation would be Aruba. If you're in the mood for sheer relaxation, and a "leave your troubles behind" type of island, Aruba's definitely the place to go. If you've never been, it's an absolute 'add' to your vacation bucket-list. You can tour the entire island in a few short hours, and "downtown" is literally a 10 minute cab ride from the resort areas. Not to mention the cool blue ocean waves, and amazing service from just about every native. Aruba gets my vote! :-)
