Happy D-Day!

I am feeling like a kid on Christmas morning right now, because today is the day we are going to demo our bathroom! We're gutting the entire thing and starting from scratch. I've had a love/hate relationship with this portion of our renovation - Love, because this is the most drastic and dramatic update we will be making in our apartment, and I've had so much fun designing and planning this room. Hate, because of all the paperwork, DOB permits, and red tape I've had to deal with in order to receive approval for this project. Now that the day is finally here, I am so very eager to see it all come together at last. But first, everything must come apart!

original bathroom is so old school. Somehow reminds me of a bathroom from an old italian restaurant .... i can't wait to see the finished product. Yay for destruction day! gjh. i like the head idea and the fake (?) shadow on that sink LOL

Yay! This is really quite exciting! I am very happy for you, it is like pinterest coming to life! Of course I have to ask... why a shower and no bath tub? Long baths are the best! So relaxing and rejuvenating!

I must have really bad interior decorating instincts. That original bathroom doesn't look THAT bad or dated. It looked like the previous owner had a middle eastern theme going on? I like your vision for the new bathroom though. One thing I might suggest: heated toilet seat. I don't have one but if you get one i'll be over everyday.

Previous owner here, can't wait to see pics of the Reno And yes totally Moroccan look not even close to Italian. We brought that lamp back from a flight to south of Spain and North Africa. Ill send you pics of the new house soon.
