Love of My Light

Chris surprised me with this awesome beaver skull and had my bat custom framed for Christmas last week. They are so ridiculously fabulous! :) I also received this stunning light fixture as a gift, which I am totally over the moon about.

The Hicks Pendant by Thomas O'Brien is wildly popular in the interior design world, and I have been pining after this bad boy ever since the moment I first laid eyes on it. Deliciously handsome in its simplicity, this pendant effortlessly compliments a multitude of styles and living spaces. Mr. Hicks is a solid and timeless statement piece, and I have a good feeling he will be very happy in our new kitchen.

hey Jen! HBD fellow Libra. I have been thinking about this light for my bed room. At first I thought it was a flush mount until i saw the pictures. DO you think this will look nice in a bed room? with relatively low ceilings?

Hi Cindy! Happy birthday to you too :D The Hicks pendant's chain is completely adjustable, so you can customize its drop to any ceiling height. I think this pendant could work well in a bedroom, especially if you hang it in pairs. The white glass shade throws a warm, subtle glow, which can be flattering for a cozy space. I'd suggest having several other lighting options around the room (ie floor lamp, bedside table lamp, sconces) to create a nice ambience in your boudoir.

Hope that helps!I can't wait to see how your new house turns out :)
